so it's been a while...how you been?

Hi (butt)cheeks lovers,

It's been way too long--luckily, the reason for the lack of posts has been due to the fact that we've been super busy with awesome stuff :)

After our Holley master class/show, we got right back to work; improving on choreo, adding new stuff, and promoting the Burlington shindig. Another master class and show in the Queen City down (SUCCESS!)/a public access appearance that made me feel like a pretty big deal and we were off to Cancun to celebrate (sans two of our favorite members...). Thanks to everyone who helped out at all shows and events, especially our new dj buddy SUMNER...who is the ish and is now obligated to be at all our events. Wearing that gold necklace.

We're back to work...with less than four months to put our next show together, we're more focused than ever on bringing you the fierceness that you expect. We think you'll be pleased ;)

If you're fiending for some classes this summer: keep your eyes peeled...we'll be back in the stood for you ASAP.

2nd Full Length Show!!

Cheeks will be presenting their 2nd Full Length Hip Hop Dance Show on March 14, 2009 at 7:30pm at Holley Hall in Bristol, VT! Tickets are $8 and will be available soon (check back for details on where to pick some up...). For all the Burlingtonians (I may have just made that word up...I'm not sure, though.) who are in need of a Cheeks fix, there will be another performance of this show in the Burlington area in early April; details to follow promptly on location, etc.

This show, entitled 'STEREOtypes', is based around a playlist of songs that we just effin' love to get down to: it's the perfect soundtrack for different life situations and you'll definitely be surprised by some of the song choices! It's all about the music and choreography this time around...so come and check it out--thanks in advance.

ALSO! On March 13th (the day before our show) at Holley Hall, we will be holding a master class for anyone who wants to check it out. If you interested, please send an email to cheeksdanceco@hotmail.com with your name, age, and level and we'll hit you back with all the details.

okayokay the holidays over--time for dance class again?

Yeahyeahyeah...life's been REAL busy these last couple weeks; I GET IT! But cereally, let's do this ish again.

Things have changed a bit--due to time conflicts AND our need for rehearsal time for the upcoming show, we will only run classes on Fridays. They will still be from 6-8pm at The Movement Center in Williston and will cost $10. Hope to see everyone back and ready to rock out :)
